This is to show the blessing of my town Igbeti Oyo state, Olorunsogo Local Government, Nigeria. Its a Gifted by God for the land this maybe rural or urban area this gifted is situated to in a Country, such minerals are likely of Granite rocks and Marbles and this listed above for example granite is using for many kind of material useful for us like COUNTERTOPS, FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTS, PAVING, MEMORIAL DESIGN ON GRAVES and CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS because its Durable, Permanent and Attractive material which is very strong to withstand any forces lay upon on it when using it for construction in addition of cement and other materials e.g BRIDGES, PILLAR and BEAM, while Marble also is useful resources for us on many things such as SCULPTURES and BUILDINGS, as many peoples knows that marble is one of stones that cost and use for a lot of products like PAINTS, TOOTHPASTE and TILES. If Country like Nigeria is blessed with some rural areas having a lots of resources let the hands join together and got it managing as we are trying to managed on Crude oil. Thus if Government is taking part of resources for purpose is Excellent and Well-done job and likely of giving some Private company chances of mining the stones for business purposes and benefit will be for the town and Government also and employed peoples who are jobless to get job, just to stop them from indigent. Taxes will be paid by the Company managing this resources for Government and for family that owns the land, indigenous to be earning from it too by working on such of that factory.

DEFINITION MINERALS RESOURCE EXPLAIN AS THUS:
Concentration or occurrence of natural, solid, inorganic or fossilized organic material in or on the Earth’s crust in such form and quantity and of such a grade or quality that it has reasonable prospects for economic extraction. The location, quantity, grade, geological characteristics and continuity of a mineral resource are known, estimated or interpreted from specific geological evidence and knowledge.

TYPES OF MINERAL RESOURCES
(a)-Measured Resources
(b)-Indicated Resources
(c)-Inferred Resources

MEASURED RESOURCE
That part of a mineral resource for which quantity, grade or quality, densities, shape, physical characteristics are so well established that they can be estimated with confidence sufficient to allow the appropriate application of technical and economic parameters to support production planning and evaluation of the economic viability of the deposit. The estimate is based on detailed and reliable exploration, sampling and testing information gathered through appropriate techniques from locations such as outcrops, trenches, pits, workings and drill holes that are spaced closely enough to confirm both geological and grade continuity.

INDICATED RESOURCE
That part of a mineral resource for which quantity grade or quality, densities, shape and physical characteristics, can be estimated with a level of confidence sufficient to allow the appropriate application of technical and economic parameters, to support mine planning and evaluation of the economic viability of the deposit. The estimate is based on detailed and reliable exploration and testing information gathered through appropriate techniques from locations such as outcrops, trenches, pits, workings and drill holes that are spaced closely enough for geological and grade continuity to be reasonably assumed.

INFERRED RESOURCE
That part of a mineral resource for which quantity and grade or quality can be estimated on the basis of geological evidence and limited sampling and reasonably assumed, but not verified, geological and grade continuity. The estimate is based on limited information and sampling gathered through appropriate techniques from locations such as outcrops, trenches, pits, workings and drill holes.

FACT ON THE ISSUE OF IGBETI MINERAL RESOURCES(Granite Rock And Marble)
This is to show financially problem IGBETI TOWN were facing likely on mineral resources whereby Government have abandoned some areas of land which were blessed with some minerals resources that can yield money for that particular states or country intaking the advantage of it, such minerals are likely of Marble, Granite, and many more, Think on the uses, importances, function of this marble and granite rocks mostly sometimes we find that this rocks serves as Tourism Centre. The mountain that were known as Historical rock basic on their spirit they possessed since they were well known e.g AGBELE ROCK, IYAMOPO(Biggest mountain in town), BATA ERUGBA, ELEWUUDU, OBADIMO, ABOSIHO, OKIN, ABOYUN-OGUN, OKUTA OKII, OKUTA OPOO, , e.t.c they are all mountains that can never be touch or think of crush for use while others don't have definite name were rocks which as much as possible at every where in town(Igbeti) available to be crushed for finishing goods. The marble was running by a company named KOPEK while people were secured job under them and some other market still flow around the town before selling to MORLAP and now be left alone. Igbeti as a town was blessed with many resources, this community can just started from this upward to reduce their in availability of no Industry and be watch where is going to lead us to before handle on the other minerals resources for better tomorrow I believe this will lead us to great attainment.

DEFINITION OF GRANITES
"Granite" varies. A geologist might define granite as a coarse-grained, quartz- and feldspar-bearing igneous rock that is made up entirely of crystals. However, in the dimension stone trade, the word "granite" is used for any feldspar-bearing rock with interlocking crystals that are large enough to be seen with the unaided eye. By this classification, rocks such as anorthosite, gneiss, granite, granodiorite, monzonite, syenite, gabbro and others are all sold under the trade name of "granite".

WHAT TO USE THIS ROCK FOR(MADE FROM)
For example marble is using for many kind of material useful for us like Paints, Tile, toothpaste and glass, if Country like Nigeria is having a lots of resources why can't we try and managed the rest different from only crude oil converted to petroleum. Thus if Federal Government can't lay hands on it, let them(PEOPLES). Government should find a way of taking the consideration of let Rich and Peoples who have power of doing it try to be manage this resources and employed peoples who have no job to get work to be doing with the companies apply them as their workers and some kinds of taxes will be paid by the manager of this resources for Government and Indigene of that land to be earning from it too when working with the various companies managing this resources, this land is not abandoned on the issues of claiming as the owner by the Local Government(OLORUNSOGO LOCAL GOVERNMENT, OYO STATE, NIGERIA.) and Nigeria entirely ruling the lands but basically abandoned on the issues of let the land to valued for managing the resources. E.g (1)-Paints
(2)-Tiles
(3)-Toothpaste
(4)-Construction
(5)-Terrazo
(6)-Glass
(7)-Granite Backsplash
(8)-Granite Facing Stone
(9)-Granite Curbing
(10)-Granite Monument
(11)-Granite Slabs

WHERE TO FIND GRANITE ROCK AND MARBLE
The continents are the exclusive home of granitic rocks and marble rocks. Nearly everywhere on the continents, no matter what rocks are on the surface, you can drill down and reach granitoid eventually. In general, granitic rocks are less dense than basaltic rocks, and thus the continents actually float higher than the oceanic crust on top of the ultramafic rocks of the Earth's mantle. The behavior and histories of granitic rock bodies and marble rocks are among geology's deepest and most intricate mysteries.

Marble as the second mineral resources of Igbeti, Oyo state, Nigeria.

MARBLE
Marble is a non-foliated metamorphic rock composed of recrystallized carbonate minerals, most commonly calcite or dolomite. Geologists use the term "marble" to refer to metamorphosed limestone; however, stonemasons use the term more broadly to encompass unmetamorphosed limestone.

ETYMOLOGY
The word "marble" derives from the Greek "μάρμαρον" (mármaron),[2] from "μάρμαρος" (mármaros), "crystalline rock", "shining stone",[3][4] perhaps from the verb "μαρμαίρω" (marmaírō), "to flash, sparkle, gleam".[5] This stem is also the basis for the English word marmoreal, meaning "marble-like.

" Whilst the English term resembles the French marbre, most other European languages (e.g. Spanish mármol, Italian marmo, Portuguese mármore, German, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish marmor, Persian and Irish marmar, Dutch marmer, Polish marmur, Turkish mermer, Czech mramor and Russian мрáмор) follow the original Greek.

PHYSICAL HISTORICAL
Marble is a rock resulting from metamorphism of sedimentary carbonate rocks, most commonly limestone or dolomite rock. Metamorphism causes variable recrystallization of the original carbonate mineral grains. The resulting marble rock is typically composed of an interlocking mosaic of carbonate crystals. Primary sedimentary textures and structures of the original carbonate rock (protolith) have typically been modified or destroyed.

Pure white marble is the result of metamorphism of a very pure (silicate-poor) limestone or dolomite protolith. The characteristic swirls and veins of many colored marble varieties are usually due to various mineral impurities such as clay, silt, sand, iron oxides, or chert which were originally present as grains or layers in the limestone. Green coloration is often due to serpentine resulting from originally high magnesium limestone or dolostone with silica impurities. These various impurities have been mobilized and recrystallized by the intense pressure and heat of the metamorphism.

USES
Marble is commonly used for two reason, but is not that marbles don't have some other use
(1) For sculpture
(2) For building

OTHER USES
(1) For supply of industry to use it to produce tiles
(2) Paints
(3) Toothpastes e.t.c

PRODUCTION OF ABROAD RENDER
If my town can simply follow all this procedures on how it been produced from all these countary and to call there attentio on it for better Changes. According to the United States Geological Survey, U.S. dimension marble production in 2006 was 46,400 tons valued at $18.1 million, compared to 72,300 tons valued at $18.9 million in 2005. Crushed marble production (for aggregate and industrial uses) in 2006 was 11.8 million tons valued at $116 million, of which 6.5 million tons was finely ground calcium carbonate and the rest was construction aggregate. For comparison, 2005 crushed marble production was 7.76 million tons valued at $58.7 million, of which 4.8 million tons was finely ground calcium carbonate and the rest was construction aggregate. U.S. dimension marble demand is about 1.3 million tons. The DSAN World Demand for (finished) Marble Index has shown a growth of 12% annually for the 2000–2006 period, compared to 10.5% annually for the 2000–2005 period. The largest dimension marble application is tile.

Marble production is dominated by 4 countries that account for almost half of world production of marble and decorative stone. Italy is the world leader in marble production, with 20% share in global marble production followed by China with 16% of world production. India is third ranking with 10% of world production, followed by Spain in fourth ranking position with 6% of world production. The other marble producing countries of the world represent the remaining other half of world marble production.
